The community decided to come together and build a new civic performing arts center that would promote the arts, be a symbol of Fairfield for the next century, and bring the community together. 

The facility was designed and constructed with local resources and community involvement, creating a new civic pride and state of the art facility.

The theater is crafted to resemble the stratification of the earth’s layers, while the exhibition hall is enclosed with gently curved glulam beams.
