Savageau Building

REPOSITIONING

Mediterranean Revival style, located on the corner of Colfax and York is an unrivaled Denver landmark. The adaptive reuse of the Savageau Building reimagines the building as a small-format retail boutique, accommodating smaller, local businesses and startups.

The renovation materials and details were chosen to align with the historic Mediterranean Revival style.

The intimate courtyard was amenitized as a “3rd space” that acts as a gathering space between work and home, with each retailer having direct access. All of the retail suites were renovated with larger operable historic glass storefronts to allow the spaces to be flooded with light. The interior and exterior improvements along with the renovation of the courtyard, serve an unmet need in Denver’s competitive retail environment, offering aspiring entrepreneurs a brick and mortar entry point.
