Red Rocks Community College Master Plan

HIGHER EDUCATION

The Red Rocks Master Plan assessed the Lakewood campus and its two main buildings including a comprehensice review of all the departments and instructional spaces. Ways to offer better cohesive flow within the buildings and locations of offices and student areas were addressed.

Activation of large, empty, and disconnected corridors was addressed by adding stair connections between floors and built-in seating.

Relocation of classrooms was studied so growing programs could have rooms in a single area. Substantial reconfiguration was recommended to meet departmental demand, current and future pedagogical models, and efficient function within the institution.
