Galleria, located in Glendale, was originally designed and built as a 2-story mall with two 12-story towers of offices above. The owner group wanted to revive the publicly accessible 2-story base and basement. The existing atrium and adjacent 3-story entry lobby were re-envisioned to provide more usable common area amenities while offering general finish upgrades. Opening up the old dark hallways and ceilings and incorporating new connecting stairs between floors in the atrium greater transparency, flow between and connectivity to the surrounding office suites is achieved.

A new board room opens to the new rooftop patio offering a visual and physical indoor-outdoor connection while providing a high-tech corporate conferencing space.

The new outdoor rooftop plaza provides lounge seating, a shade structure and trees. New common areas include bike storage, changing rooms offering lockers and showers, a relocated café & bar, multiple distinct workspace areas, activity/gaming center with active media walls offering community tables to smaller lounges, and reading benches for quiet contemplation.
