The University of Colorado at Denver proposed to purchase the 32 year old Executive Tower Inn and renovate the building to provide housing for International students.

Architectural Workshop was hired to provide the due diligence and conceptual design for the renovation of the 30 story building into a multi-purpose facility. The building renovation converted the tower into 340 student suites. The lower three levels provided student accommodations arranged in activity nodes, commercial functions on the street level, and office and classrooms on the second level. The building renovation will include the replacement of the exterior skin with GFRC panels, new life safety systems, and complete renovation of mechanical and electrical systems.
